A new year, a new chance for equality in our country. While there is still a big battle ahead to bring FULL MARRIAGE EQUALITY to all citizens in the United States, 2012 brought a new Civil Unions law to Hawaii, allowing Same Sex couples to enter into a union that will give them the ability to gain legal rights generally reserved to Hetero couples. It's not perfect, but it's a start. I can't wait for the day when a WEDDING IS A WEDDING!!! Two beautiful ladies, a gorgeous day, and wonderful friends helped create a spur of the moment lovely ceremony on Waikiki Beach (shhhhh don't tell anyone, it's TECHNICALLY not allowed!)
Every wedding should have hunky bridesmaids like these!!! (well, maybe not EVERY wedding....)
For some reason, LOVE was in the air, and it was INFECTIOUS!!! I didn't even notice the background action in the second photo until after I started editing!
